Nestled on the illustrious campus of Hampton University, Dereck and Shaquaia said I do with all of their closest friends and family present.
Draped in a gorgeous one of kind custom made wedding gown Shaquaia was ready to say recite her vows and marry the man of her dreams. Dereck looked daper in his 3 piece suit with bow tie and matching loafers but his smile outshined it all. He grinned from ear to ear as he eagerly awaited the arrival of his best friend and mate for life.
The ceremony highlighted the couples love with touching personal vows and meaningful traditions. There was not a dry eye in the chapel as Dereck and Shaquaia professed their undying love for one another.
A luxurious limousine took them from the chapel to the student center as they got ready to get down with all who came to witness their special day. Guests of the reception had signs and banners to great them as they entered the reception. Each table was named after places they spent time together on the beautiful campus of Hampton university. And the bar had drinks named after their hometowns. Their personality shined throughout their reception the whole night.
Guests young and younger danced the night away and took plenty of silly photos in the photo booth. There was plenty of good food, drinks, music and people there to support Dereck and Shaquaia on their special day.
August 6th, 2016 was the day that two best friends got married. Reggie and I were so happy to be there to witness and record such a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.
